This website is devoted to the 51 State Tree images and prints by Linda Frances, Four Winds Gallery, Salida Colorado. The series was started about 2000 when the state quarters were beginning to come out. Working with environmental groups which were raising consiousness about trees, planting trees and saving trees, the idea of a "State Tree" series of paintings was born. It took almost nine years to plan and paint all 51, and get them made into prints. I am looking for a buyer for the entire set of original paintings. Please contact the gallery if you are interested.
